The primary goal of Cruz Communications is to ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis. This is only possible if we constantly evolve ourselves and our quality standards. Therefore, we have developed a quality management for all our services, in order to check our processes against our quality standards at any time. The quality management in the field of translations is based on the following pillars:
Punctuality is of top priority to Cruz Communications. When we provide you with a quote it will include a delivery date which we will not change during the process. Our clients can rely on us.
All translation projects, and all documents provided by the client, are subject to strict confidentiality and will, under no circumstances, be forwarded to third parties. We will happily provide you with a written confidentiality agreement.
Selection of highly-qualified translators
Thanks to our worldwide network of translators, you can rely on us to meet your requirements by using qualified employees.
Every translator at Cruz Communications is a native speaker in their respective target language. To pass our rigorous selection process, employees must have a completed linguistic degree, many years of professional experience and be fluent in their respective languages.
It is important to use translators with specialist knowledge, especially in translation projects. Linguistic training alone does not guarantee correct translations. Specialisation in a few areas is crucial and constant work in these areas is an absolute must for a qualified translator.
All stages of work, such as quoting, scheduling, selecting a translator/language teacher/interpreter etc., executing services, sending data to the translator, returning files to the project manager, service description, or accounting, are carried out automatically according to a specific sequence.
Translation standard EN 15038Since 2006, the EN 15038 standard has provided more transparency in the implementation of translations. Translation agencies that work in accordance with this standard, are obliged, among other things, to complete a detailed analysis of the project in advance and to create a quote using this analysis. In addition, all translations must be proofread by a second translator and all work must be documented. In doing so, the client receives a good overview of the implementation of the translation and the incurred costs.
At Cruz Communications, every request we receive is analysed with regard to requirements and feasibility, and the client receives a free quote which includes an exact delivery date and a detailed breakdown of the costs. A second translator will only proofread the translation at the request of the client.
Cruz Communications GmbH is not yet certified in accordance with this directive, however, we work with a clear, transparent process management in accordance with this standard.
Besides the very high certification costs, there is another good reason we are not yet certified: In our opinion, proofreading by a second translator doesn’t just benefit the client by ensuring the quality of the translation, it also results in an additional expenditure of time and, more importantly, costs. Which is why, after extensive consultation, we let the client decide. In our offer we will inform you of the opportunities and the prices and delivery dates for all variants.
